This photo depicts a backup last weekend on Hillcrest Drive just before the SSCA tennis courts. The backup extended south on the residential cut-through route back to a line on the Wright Memorial Bridge, waiting to turn left at South Dogwood Trail.
Thanks, everyone. I don’t have time to check out the 158 intersection, but I suspect people are breaking the law, not just making U turns to get around the turn prohibition. I think the traffic is coming too swiftly to be just U-turn traffic.
Update: It would appear from one Duck Woods Drive homeowner’s report that I received by email that I was wrong. Motorists are turning around at Duck Woods Drive and going back to South Dogwood Trail to make legal right turns.

6:25 and traffic is stopped on Wax Myrtle. Earlier traffic was busy, going way too fast but moving.
