BREAKING NEWS:
The second local drive-thru COVID-19 testing event will be held next Tuesday, June 2, starting at 10 a.m., in Nags Head, the Dare County Dept. of Health and Human Services announced this morning. This time, 500 people will be tested–a substantial increase over the 200 people who will be tested at this afternoon’s drive-thru event at First Flight High School.
The June 2 testing will take place at the Soundside Event Site at 6800 S. Croatan Hwy. (the bypass) in Nags Head. It is open to Dare County residents who are age 10 or older and provide appropriate identification.
To be tested, you must call (252) 475-5008 and make an appointment. If you are tested, you will be informed of your results by telephone within 72 hours.
The Dare County HHS department is partnering with Macko Medical Laboratories of Raleigh to bring drive-thru COVID-19 testing to the Outer Banks.
