
Seventy-five new COVID-19 cases were reported today on the Dare County Dept. of Health and Human Services’ dashboard, a new single-day record high.
Forty-seven of the 75 cases are Dare County residents, and 28 are nonresidents.
Yesterday the DCDHHS reported that a local woman age 65+ had been hospitalized for COVID-19.
The State of North Carolina set a new record on Saturday when the Dept. of Health and Human Services reported 11,581 new COVID-19 cases in a 24-hour period.
Hospitalizations declined slightly statewide to 3,774 today, while COVID-19-related deaths climbed to 7,567.
